
South Africa refutes reports of hosting 2026 WAFCON tournament

The South African Ministry of Sport, Arts and Culture has denied claims that the country will replace Morocco as host of the 2026 Women rsquo;s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). On February 1, Deputy Sports Minister Peace Mabe announced that South Africa would host the tournament.
