
Ghana risks U.S. visa sanctions over high student overstay rate – Ablakwa confirms

At a press conference in Accra on Thursday, June 26, Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa confirmed that U.S. authorities had formally notified the government of the warning, citing a 21 per cent student visa overstay rate, well above the acceptable threshold of 15 per cent.
